Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated 8 September 2026

Who you are buying from

BlitsQuote is sold by Eunan Nortje, a sole proprietor trading from Plot 77, Road no 2, Wheatlands, Randfontein, Gauteng, South Africa.
Email BlitsQuote@gmail.com. All prices are in South African rand. No VAT is charged.

What we sell

BlitsQuote is quoting and cutting-list software for cabinet makers. A licence covers one computer.

LicencePriceBilling
MonthlyR200Recurring — charged every month until you cancel
YearlyR2 000Recurring — charged every year until you cancel
PermanentR6 000One payment. Nothing recurs and nothing renews

The monthly and yearly licences are subscriptions: they renew automatically and keep charging your card until you cancel them. The permanent licence is a single payment and never charges you again.

The free trial comes first

BlitsQuote is free for 14 days. It is the complete program with nothing held back, no account and no card details. The trial exists so you can be certain the software suits your shop before you pay anything. Please use it — it is the reason the rest of this policy is fair.

Refunds

Licence fees are not refundable once a licence key has been issued for your computer. This applies whether or not you go on to use the software.

The reason is that a licence key cannot be taken back. Once it is issued it unlocks the software on that computer permanently, and there is no way for us to remove it. That is also why the trial is the full program for a full fourteen days rather than a cut-down version.

When we do refund

We will refund you in full if:

  • The key does not work. If a licence key will not activate the software on the computer it was bought for, and we cannot make it work within 5 working days of you telling us, you get your money back in full.
  • You were charged twice for the same licence, or charged after cancelling. We refund the duplicate or the incorrect charge.

Refunds are paid back to the card or account the payment came from, within 10 working days of us agreeing the refund. Ask by emailing BlitsQuote@gmail.com.

Cancelling a monthly or yearly licence

You can cancel at any time, and you do not have to give a reason or any notice.

To cancel, do either of these:

  • Email BlitsQuote@gmail.com with the email address you paid with, or your installation number. We cancel it within 2 working days and email you to confirm. This always works, and it is the surest route.
  • Use the receipt Paystack emailed you when you subscribed. It carries a link for managing the subscription, which lets you cancel it yourself straight away.

What happens once you cancel:

  • Your card is never charged again.
  • The licence keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you cancel a monthly licence a week in, you keep the remaining three weeks.
  • The part-period you have already paid for is not refunded — the licence simply runs to the end of it and is not renewed.
  • When the period ends the software returns to being locked, and your saved work stays on your computer. Nothing is deleted and nothing is sent to us.

If you cancel and are charged again afterwards, that is our mistake and we refund it in full — see When we do refund above.

Changing to a different licence

If you are on a monthly or yearly licence and want the permanent one, email us. We will tell you what is left to pay and cancel the subscription when the permanent licence is issued, so you are never paying for both at once.

Your rights under South African law

Nothing in this policy takes away any right you have under South African law that cannot be signed away, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Where this policy and those rights disagree, those rights win.
